The Mayor and City Council Members are elected officials. City Council meetings are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers of the Albert B. Buday Civic Center, 3869 W. Jefferson – 2nd floor. Meeting agendas and minutes are available in the City Clerk’s office and Ecorse website by clicking here.

2013 City Council Meeting Schedule
For requests to be recognized at a City Council Meeting, complete the Citizen Participation Form and submit it to the City Clerk's Office by Noon Wednesday the week before the meeting at which you wish to be recognized. 

Vision for the City

We, the elected officials of the City of Ecorse will work with the EFM and City Administrator to renew, re-invent and revitalize this great city with thriving businesses and increased employment opportunities. Our vision is to create a city where residents are proud to live, work and raise families. We pledge to work together to develop safer communities and provide activities for all ages. Ecorse will become an excellent place to live again. It will be known for its spectacular waterfront, peaceful parks, and unique dining and shopping experiences.
