NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ACT NO. 267 OF THE PUBLIC ACTS OF 1976, ENTITLED “OPEN MEETINGS ACT”

Please take notice that the Mayor and Council of the City of Ecorse, whose principal place of business and whose address is 3869 W. Jefferson, Ecorse, Michigan, and whose telephone number is (313) 386-2520, will meet and conduct its regular meetings at the dates, time and place as follows.

All regular meetings of the Mayor and Council of the City of Ecorse will be held on TUESDAY EVENINGS at 7:30 pm., Local Time, commencing January 8, 2013 and for the balance of the 2013 calendar year will meet on the following dates:

January 8 and 22, 2013 July 9 and 23, 2013
February 5 and 19, 2013 August 6 and 20, 2013
March 5and 19, 2013 September 3 and 17, 2013
April 2, 16 and 30, 2013 October 1, 15 and 29, 2013
May 14 and 28, 2013 November 12 and 26, 2013
June 11 and 25, 2013 December 10 and 24, 2013

Such regular meeting shall be held in the Council Chambers of the Albert B. Buday Civic Center, 3869 W. Jefferson, Ecorse, Michigan. The telephone number is (313) 386-2520.

The official minutes of the Mayor and Council of the City of Ecorse, Wayne County, Michigan are stored in the Office of the City Clerk, 3869 W. Jefferson, Ecorse, Michigan and are available to the public for inspection at reasonable times and under reasonable conditions.

A copy of this notice and all future notices shall be posted by attaching same in a secure manner in the following places:

  1. Front entrance of the Albert B. Buday Civic Center, 3869 W. Jefferson, Ecorse.
  2. The counter windows of the City Clerk and City Treasurer’s Office of the Albert B. Buday Civic Center, 3869 W. Jefferson, Ecorse.
  3. The front entrance to the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Albert B. Buday Civic Center, 3869 W. Jefferson, Ecorse.

Upon written request and payment of a fee to cover the cost of printing and mailing, the City of Ecorse will send a copy of this notice to any requesting party.
